We put a great deal of effort into bringing you the best of mainstream and independent film from Britain and around the world, which makes for a varied and ever changing cinema programme virtually all year round.
On Stage
Classic and new drama, talks, musicals, family shows, educational productions, poetry and panto for your edification and delight!
Music and Dance
The Central Band of the Royal British Legion, European Ballet and the Mid Somerset Orchestra, as well as some interesting College and school performances keep the Theatre busy up to the Summer!
Visual Art
Booking is now open for a joint talk by the renowned nature photographers Andy Rouse and Joe Cornish at Strode Theatre in December 2008!
Our spacious foyer is the venue for exhibitions of photography, painting, textile art and other artforms by artists from this area, or those who have found inspiration for their work in Somerset.

We have recently improved some of our pages, in particular a much upgraded "Links" page with lots more links to other arts organisations in Somerset. We have also added a new "Schools" page for educational establishments, and are always grateful for any feedback.
